What we treat

Birds & parrots

Birds hide illness until they're very unwell. By the time most owners notice something is wrong, the bird is already in trouble. We provide routine wellness checks, beak and nail trimming, diet advice, and treatment for common conditions including respiratory infections, egg binding, feather plucking, and nutritional deficiencies.

Reptiles

Reptile medicine is its own discipline. Tortoises, lizards, and snakes have very specific husbandry and nutritional needs, and many illnesses come from suboptimal habitat. We can review your setup, identify problems, and treat common reptile conditions.

Small mammals

Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets and chinchillas all benefit from regular veterinary care. We provide neutering, vaccinations (where applicable), dental work for rabbits and guinea pigs, and treatment for the conditions specific to each species.

Unusual cases & emergencies

If you have something unusual or are uncertain whether we can help — just call. Forty-four years of practice means very few cases surprise us, and where we don't have the right facility we can refer you to someone who does.
